For the purposes of transparency, the Crédit Mutuel group uses various publications to regularly report on its initiatives and the implementation of its commitments.

CSR report DPEF (Déclaration de Performance Extra-Financière)

L'organe central du Crédit Mutuel publie sa Déclaration de performance Extra-Financière (DPEF) qui donne une vision globale des engagements et des actions menées en matière de RSE, ainsi que les résultats obtenus. Cette année, l'accent a été mis sur : les risques et opportunités relatifs aux risques climatiques, l'exposition du groupe au risque physique, l'empreinte carbone du groupe, le ratio d'éligibilité à la taxonomie verte (GAR - Green Asset Ratio).

Since 2006, the group's annual Statement of Non-Financial Performance has provided an overview of its CSR commitments and actions as well as the results obtained.

The regional groups publish their commitments and the actions carried out within their regions in their own Statements of Non-Financial Performance (DPEF).

Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB) report

The Crédit Mutuel group has been a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Banking since 2019 and is committed to aligning its strategy and activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement. To that end, it reports on its actions publicly on the UNEP-FI website.

Le groupe Crédit Mutuel a signé le 25 mai 2021 l’engagement de la Net Zero Banking Alliance, s’engageant ainsi à fixer une première série d’objectifs climatiques avant fin 2022 et à publier annuellement les émissions de gaz à effet de serre de son portefeuille. L’alliance NZBA fait partie de la Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) et de Race to Zero, campagne soutenue par l’ONU. Elle permet au secteur financier d’atteindre un objectif de neutralité carbone en 2050.

Global Compact CoP

The Crédit Mutuel group has been a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact since 2003. This voluntary commitment framework is structured around compliance with ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor law, the environment and the fight against corruption. The group is also mandated by the UN to support French businesses in implementing the 2030 Agenda and adopting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To that end, it reports on its actions publicly on the Global Compact website. At the end of 2020, the Crédit Mutuel group achieved the highest differentiation level – Advanced – for the publication of its Communication On Progress (CoP).

Greenhouse gas survey

Each Crédit Mutuel group institution conducts a four-yearly greenhouse gas survey, viewable on the ADEME website.

Since 2022, the Crédit Mutuel group has published a consolidated statement of its greenhouse gas emissions in its Statement of Non-Financial Performance.
