Investment banking includes capital markets, merchant banking, venture capital, private equity, brokerage and mergers and acquisitions.
Corporate banking, capital markets and investment banking activities are carried out by "Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel" (BFCM) and the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group.
Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel (BFCM)
BFCM is at the center of the member groups of Caisse Fédérale de Crédit Mutuel, a French mutual group composed of 11 regional federations backed by two networks (Crédit Mutuel et CIC) whose primary business is bankinsurance. BFCM raises refinancing for the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale group in international markets, holds the group’s investments and coordinates the activities of the subsidiaries.
