Shareholders' meeting
The shareholders' meeting - a forum for exchange
Once a year, each local bank’s shareholders’ meeting is an opportunity for members to get together to review the previous year's activity, approve the financial statements and confirm the appointment or reappointment of directors who serve on the local banks’ boards. Corporate democracy is embedded at every level of the Crédit Mutuel group: local, regional and national. The shareholders’ meeting of the Confederation is the final sequence of this process.

Coordination Committee
Versions
The Coordination Committee was created through an amendment to the Confederation's bylaws on March 21, 2016.
Role
The Coordination Committee's responsibilities include coordinating the work of groups that focus on specific topics (Basel 3, Audit, Commercial, Communication, etc.) and issuing an advisory opinion on decisions submitted to the Board of Directors.
Composition
Under the bylaws, the Committee consists of ten members:
- the Chief Executive Officer of the Confederation who chairs the committee,
- the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Confederation,
- four members appointed by the federations to which Caisse Fédérale de Crédit Mutuel,
- one member appointed by the federations to which Caisse interfédérale Crédit Mutuel Arkéa,
- one member appointed by the federation to which Caisse fédérale du Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe,
- one member appointed jointly by the federation to which Caisse fédérale du Crédit Mutuel de Maine-Anjou et Basse-Normandie,
- one member appointed jointly by the federation to which Caisse fédérale du Crédit Mutuel Océan.
The Chairman of the Confederation also attends Committee meetings.
Operation
The Committee meets once a month or at the request of a member of the Confederation’s executive management. A quorum is not required.
