Each financial entity in the group, from federal banks to asset management companies and insurers, is responsible for drawing up sector policies based on its business lines, exposure and risk assessment.
Details of these policies are available on the websites of the regional groups:
- Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel and Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale: the policies (agriculture, mobility, coal, hydrocarbons, mining, civil nuclear energy, defense and security, sustainability, private banking, etc.) are available here.
- Crédit Mutuel Arkéa: the policies (agriculture and wine-growing, coal, oil and gas, tobacco, regional health support policy) are available here.
- Crédit Mutuel Océan: the policies (coal, hydrocarbons, civil nuclear energy, defense and security, mining) are available here.
Through their application of Article 29 of the French Energy Transition and Green Growth law, the insurance (ACM, Suravenir) and asset management (Crédit Mutuel Asset Management, Federal Finance Gestion, La Française) subsidiaries have acquired expertise in measuring the climate impact of their investments, which they each set out in their annual report.
Additional information on our regional groups’ climate commitments is published on the Sustainable Finance Observatory website.
